Troy Zaushny is a painter and printmaker from New London, Ct. His work is a contemplation of spiritual identity, consciousness, and the natural world as they are being transformed by science and technology.
Troy recently returned from “Ethiopian Odyssey II”, a painting tour of Maji and the Southern Nations of Ethiopia. There he worked with a group of artists, writers, and humanitarians to create a series of children’s books which will be translated into the many native languages of the country.
Other murals to his credit include “The Hard Hat Painters” and the reproduction of “The Hygienic Ladies”, both with Michael McNabney here in New London.

I hired Ben as a studio hand, but He’s been such an asset to the project that I’ve invited him to be one of the contributing artists.
Here he is working on one of the canvases for the New London Police Station stairway- with a special appearance from his friend Sky.
Ben says his work is heavily influenced by the work of New London/Brooklyn artist Denny Rivera.
I’m Arianna Burdick, an 8th grader at Bennie Dover Jackson Middle School. I am going to Ledyard High School next year. I’ve always loved to draw, often I will draw people facing forward to try new outfits and hair styles. If I can’t come up with good outfit, I’ll do some abstract lines to get a random design. I’m mostly self taught, learning from observing alone, with trial and error. For the most part, my style is anime mixed with semi-realism.
